High Voltage & Arc Flash Conference Auckland 2024
Hydrogen Safety & Hazardous Areas Conference Perth
7th Arc Flash Conference Perth 2024
Event Overview
Arc flash incidents, characterised by extreme surges of heat energy, pose a persistent risk for electrical workers. The impact of an arc flash extends beyond the immediate incident, causing long-lasting disruptions, injuries, equipment damage, facility repairs, and potential harm to a business's reputation. Despite the awareness of the dangers associated with live electrical equipment, frequent incidents continue to occur in Australia, resulting in tragic consequences. The ambiguity and confusion surrounding industry standards contribute to the challenge of effectively mitigating these risks.
In response to the critical need for addressing arc flash hazards, the Arc Flash Conference has been established. With a focus on the Australian context, this conference aims to equip engineers and all personnel engaged in electrical work with effective strategies for reducing arc flash incidents. Through this event, attendees will learn how to navigate standards, processes, and best practices to minimise the likelihood of arc flash incidents, ultimately enhancing workplace safety.
